Teacher accused of giving student, 15, lap dance in class on birthday

HOUSTON — A middle school teacher in Texas is facing charges after police said she gave a lap dance to a 15-year-old student in front of the entire class on his birthday.

Authorities said the boy told police 42-year-old Felicia Smith played music and that she hugged him and told him she loved him.

The entire incident, which lasted about four minutes, was captured on video.

Smith admitted to police that she gave him a full-contact lap dance after the class convinced her to do it. She was removed from the campus and hasn’t returned.

Smith, who’s charged with improper relationship with a student, posted bond Friday morning.
