Tennis ball-sized hail hits parts of Pennsylvania

READING, Pa. (AP) — Hail has hammered portions of eastern and central Pennsylvania. It has broken windows in buildings and shattered car windshields.

The National Weather Service says it has received reports of hail as big as a tennis ball in Danville. Hail bigger than a quarter also pelted Reading.

The storm hit mid-afternoon Thursday.

The Berks County emergency management center says it received a flood of calls but has no reports of any serious injuries.
