MONACA, Pa. — Thousands of dollars in equipment was stolen from a Beaver County youth football league after thieves broke into a storage shed.
Ricky Suman, head coach of the Monaca Little Indians, told Channel 11's Amy Marcinkiewicz that whoever stole the equipment got into the building through a window after pushing out an air conditioner.

“We are hurting, we need these items. Don't know why anyone would do this,” said Suman.
The Little Indians football league is already struggling financially and has free membership. Currently, the league is serving 70 kids and depends on equipment donations.
Jerseys and helmets were among the items stolen, though officials said they will be hard to sell because they all have the Monaca logo on them.
Parents who work hard to keep the kids on the field through fundraisers are also upset.
“It only hurts the kids,” said mother Amy Tilly.
