PITTSBURGH — A toddler was rushed to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Monday evening after falling out of a window in Pittsburgh’s Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood.
Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Sonya Toler said the child was chasing a cat through a house on Geyer Avenue when he fell through the screened window.

According to Channel 11's news partners at TribLIVE, the boy, who is 2, according to what paramedics told emergency dispatchers, was taken to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh around 5:30 p.m. in serious but stable condition.
TribLIVE reported that paramedics told emergency dispatchers that the toddler fell 3 1⁄2 stories before landing on dirt.
