SALEM TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A tractor-trailer fire has closed the westbound lanes of Route 22 in Salem Township.
Chopper 11 flew over the scene Wednesday and showed a traffic backup of several miles.
Motorists in the area are advised to seek alternate routes.
No injuries were reported, but the truck was destroyed in the fire. Investigators said the flames ignited when the truck’s brakes caught fire.
