TREE FALLS: Tree branch brings down utility wires, damages vehicles in Brookline

A large branch fell from a tree in Brookline Wednesday morning, causing damage to two vehicles and bringing down utility wires.

It happened in the 500 block of Fordham Avenue around 5:30 a.m.

The vehicles were unoccupied, sitting in a driveway, and no one was injured, a woman who owns one of the vehicles told Channel 11.

No power outages were reported in the area. It’s not clear what caused the branch to fall.

Duquesne Light was called to the scene to make repairs.
