Pitt is holding its breath.

After Mason Heintschel exited Friday night’s 35-33 primetime win on the road early, the Panthers are waiting to see what the diagnosis is.

According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Heintschel is set to undergo MRI testing on his right leg on Saturday. The team will have a better idea of what the signal-caller is dealing with when head coach Pat Narduzzi walks to the podium for his weekly press conference.

“There’s nothing (update-wise),” Narduzzi said afterward. “We’re on the road. We’ll probably give you an update on Monday morning, Monday at noon. Couldn’t tell you.”
