Video shows brawl between Central Valley, New Castle football teams

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Seven players and a coach were ejected from a high school football game Friday night in New Castle after a brawl -- which was caught on video -- broke out before the game even started.

Angelo Perrotta runs a cable TV station out of New Castle and records the high school football games. He was at the Central Valley-New Castle game and witnessed the brawl.

Perrotta shared video he captured with Channel 11 News. He described seeing players from Central Valley stomping on the New Castle team logo on the field, and one player taking off his helmet and spitting on the logo.

The coach and players who were ejected are from New Castle.

Perrotta said Central Valley was taunting New Castle, and wonders why Central Valley was not penalized.
