1 person hospitalized after 2 vehicle crash in New Stanton

NEW STANTON, Pa. — One person was taken to a hospital after a two-vehicle crash in New Stanton on Tuesday.

The crash took place at 5:52 p.m. on South Center Avenue according to Westmoreland County 911 dispatchers.

One person was trapped inside one of the vehicles and emergency crews worked to extricate them. No update is available on their condition at this time.

No other injuries were reported.

South Center Avenue was closed between Paintersville Road and Oak Street as crews worked to clear the scene.
