Crews on scene for fire in Sewickley Township

WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. — Westmoreland County 911 confirmed to Channel 11 that crews are on the scene of a fire in Sewickley Township.

Dispatch said crews were called to McClerge Avenue in Herminie at 10:58 a.m.

Our crew at the scene said the fire was contained to the roof. The rest of the house was salvageable but the roof has a large hole in it.

The fire has been put out but small flames are rekindling.

There’s no word on any injuries.
