Woman accused of attacking pregnant Good Samaritan

AMBRIDGE, Pa. — Ambridge police said a woman is facing several charges for allegedly assaulting a pregnant woman who was trying to help her.

According to good Samaritan Lisa Quijada, she was walking and minding her own business when Tammy Brown, who was bleeding from the head, came up to her.

“Her face was all bloody so I told her I could take her home and then she jumped me,” Quijada said.

Police said Brown not only attacked Quijada, but she fought with police as well. Officers said she spit on them and they were forced to use a stun gun on her.

“She was crazy,” Quijada said. “I’d like an apology, but I’ll see her in court.”

A preliminary hearing is scheduled in the next 10 days.
