PITTSBURGH — A woman who adopted one of 18 Yorkies rescued from a North Side home earlier this month is apparently trying to sell the dog on Facebook.
In her post to the Pittsburgh Flea Market Facebook page, the woman claims she can’t keep the Yorkie she adopted due to allergies, so she’s selling the dog for $425.

The Animal Rescue League told Channel 11 News that the woman paid an adoption fee of $400. She also signed a contract that stated if she couldn’t keep the dog, she would return it to the shelter.
Workers at the Animal Rescue League said they’re working to working to get in touch with the woman.
The dog was found along with 17 other Yorkies inside a home owned by a North Side breeder who recently died.
