Man, 18, Charged In Shooting Outside Boyce Park Wave Pool

MONROEVILLE, Pa.,None — An 18-year-old Pittsburgh man has been charged with firing shots during a gun battle outside the Boyce Park wave pool in Monroeville on Tuesday.

Allegheny County police said James Bundridge told them he had a yearlong dispute with the another man who has yet to be identified or charged by police for the shooting in the wave pool parking lot.

Police said Bundridge told them he fired after the other gunman called him names and fired shots at him. Nobody was injured, but hundreds of patrons ran for cover when they heard the shots at about 6:15 p.m..

Bundridge was charged and jailed Wednesday and faces a preliminary hearing July 13.
