Around 2 a.m. Sunday, a tractor-trailer and motorcycle collision took place on Route 28 near the 40^th Street Bridge.

The medical examiner said the victim of the accident was Christopher Streiff, 46, of Sewickley.

The accident caused the closure of Route 28 between 40^th Street and the Heinz plant.

According to police, the truck received significant damage to the passenger side.

All lanes of Route 28 are now open, and police continue to investigate the accident.
