Men Charged In Carnegie Pizza Shop Tip Jar Theft

CARNEGIE, Pa.,None — Police have charged two men accused of stealing a tip jar from a Carnegie pizza joint.

Investigators said the incident happened on Oct. 23 at Raya's Pizza.

Jordan Tibbs, 18, and Diondre Dantzler, 18, were charged in connection with the crime.

Tibbs was arrested in McKeesport on Wednesday. He was charged with theft and criminal conspiracy. Dantzler was arrested in Bellevue on Friday. He, too, was charged with theft and criminal conspiracy.

Both suspects are being held in the Allegheny County Jail.

Officers said the men were caught on surveillance video taking the jar with $10 inside.

Carnegie Police Chief Jeff Harbin said the video is clear and the men weren't wearing masks.

"I wish all videos were this clear. Either that wasn't their intent or they're very, very stupid," Harbin said.
