The accident happened along Route 19 at the intersection of Fort Couch Road at about 10 a.m.

Witnesses said a woman with a 6-week-old baby inside the store was knocked to the ground and bloodied. The baby was found under a copy machine safe in his stroller, authorities said.

"I heard an enormous crash, like a bomb, loudest I ever heard," said witness Kate Moreland. "Everyone ran over, and the baby was under a copier in a stroller, mom under a copier by the window."

Authorities said the woman and her baby were taken to a local hospital, along with the driver of the SUV. Officials told Channel 11 News the baby is OK and has since been released from the hospital. There is no word on the names or conditions of the mother and driver.

The driver of the SUV works accidentally hit the gas instead of the brakes, officials said.

"The driver was very upset. We were telling her to turn off her car. She was saying. 'I'm sorry. Are you ok? Oh my God, oh my God,'" Moreland said.

Investigators said the incident was an accident, and they won't file any charges.
