So are there four pots of gold at the end of this thing?
After storms rolled through the Tri-State area, images of what appear to be a quadruple rainbow began popping up on Twitter. Images of double rainbows appearing over Long Island were also reported, according to CBS New York.
According to National Geographic, a quadruple rainbow was first captured on camera in 2011, so if verified, this would not be the first time such a phenomenon has occurred.
Still, it’s a beautiful and unusual event to witness, and people gushed about it on social media.
At first we thought this quadruple rainbow picture was fake, but then we were blown away. For more amazing weather stories, check out the AMHQ with Sam Champion page on Facebook.
