Robert Downey Jr. lent his star power, and alter-ego Tony Stark, to make a child's dream of a new arm come true. Downey partnered with Albert Manero.

Manero, a #CollectiveProject college student, founded Limbitless. His company builds and prints, on a 3D printer, low-cost bionic limbs for children around the world.
This time Downey, or should we say Stark, gave Alex a new super hero arm, and it was made at no cost to the family.
Alex is 7 and he was born with a partially developed right arm, The Collective Project's video explained. Despite that, Alex still loves his super heros and riding his bike like any other 7-year-old.
Manero has also allowed the plans for the arm to be downloaded to allow anyone with a 3D printer to make one themselves. The cost of the plans - nothing. The cost of the supplies run about $350, much less than a traditional prosthetic.
