OIL CITY, Pa.,None — Police arrested a 35-year-old Oil City man on Tuesday and charged him with sex crimes against a 15-year-old boy.
David Deshner is facing several charges after police said he assaulted a boy at his home.
Investigators said the victim was a runaway. Detectives said Deshner opened his home to children who were looking for a place to stay. Police said he gave them food and a place to get away.
Officers said they questioned Deshner who admitted to taking in the kids because they didn't want to go to school or had run away from home.
Police said Deshner admitted to knowing the boys were underage.
Investigators said they fear more victims will come forward after hearing about this case.
"We do think there could be more out there," said Oil City police Sgt. Steven Hamilton.
Deshner is currently in the Venango County Jail.
