PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police released surveillance images of a man accused of robbing a downtown bank Friday in the hope that someone will be able to identify him.
Authorities said the man entered the First Niagara Bank on Grant Street and approached one of the tellers. The man placed a note down on the teller's counter, stated he had a gun and would "shoot everybody” and then demanded cash, police said.%

The man left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash and the note. Witnesses said no gun was seen.
The robber is described as a white man between 40 and 50 years old who is 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall with a thin build. He has facial scruff and very bad teeth. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt with gray sweatpants.
Anyone who recognizes the man or has information regarding the robbery is asked to contact Pittsburgh police.
