McCANDLESS, Pa.,None — A woman was taken into custody after police said she smashed several windows at the McCandless Target store.
The woman was apparently upset over items she wanted to return but was unable to, so she started smashing the McKnight Road store's windows with a baseball bat, police said.
"I tried returning two ice cream makers and they wouldn't give me my money back so I made a scene," said 39-year-old Donna Rosenberger.
When Channel 11 News crews showed up, she began yelling at the cameraman, saying she's been trying to return an ice-cream maker for the past six years.
She said she called politicians and is going to call the Howard Stern radio show.
Police said the damage done to the store is likely several thousand dollars. Rosenberger was arraigned before a district judge on Friday and released on her own recognizance. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for next week.
