PLUM, Pa. — Plum Borough police are investigating after a vehicle accident left one person dead and two others injured.
Police say Eric Jones, 40, of Plum was driving a blue Dodge Caliber and was headed west on Leechburg Road when it appeared to have side swiped a Chevy Truck before smashing into the guard rail.
The driver of the Dodge Caliber was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in the truck were transported to Forbes Regional Hospital, treated and released.
The accident occurred at approximately 6 p.m. Sunday.
Police are investigating.
