CORAOPOLIS, Pa. — Allegheny County police are looking for a man wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey, who held up a Coraopolis bank Friday afternoon.
Authorities said a man entered the WesBanco branch, located at 900 Fifth Avenue, in Coraopolis, at 12:16 p.m. and pointed a small, black semi-automatic handgun at two different tellers.
The robber is described as a man who is white or bi-racial with a thin build and is approximately 6 feet tall between 20 and 30 years old. He was last seen wearing white gloves, a gray hooded sweatshirt covered by a black Pittsburgh Steelers' No. 43 Troy Polamalu jersey, a black mask that covered the lower half of his face, black pants and a black backpack that was used to transport the money.
Police said the man was last seen fleeing north on Fifth Avenue in Coraopolis.
Anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the robber is asked to contact county police.
