BEAVER FALLS, Pa.,None — Police said they're searching for the ex-boyfriend of an exotic dancer who was robbed after the man accosted her after hiding in the back of her sport utility vehicle.
Police in Big Beaver said Larry Shaffer Jr., 29, of New Castle, was hiding in the rear cargo area when the victim left the Club Escape Gentleman's Club about 4:15 a.m. Saturday.
Police said Shaffer hit Cara Metrocavige, 21, in the face and pushed his foot on the gas pedal in an attempt to gain control of the vehicle before she convinced Shaffer she'd drive him home. Instead, she drove back to the strip club and yelled for help, at which time Shaffer ran away with about $500 police said he stole from the woman.
Police on Monday said Shaffer remains at large.
