CONNELLSVILLE, Pa.,None — State police said a woman wiped a dirty diaper on the window of another woman's vehicle during a dispute in a traffic jam as both were leaving the Fayette County Fair.
Jessica Hollis, 23, of Mount Pleasant, has been charged with harassment in the incident which state police in Uniontown said happened at about 10:50 p.m. Saturday.
Police said Hollis smeared the diaper on the rear window of a vehicle driven by Melanie Campbell, 36, of Hopwood. Police said the women began arguing while they were stuck in traffic leaving the fairgrounds in Dunbar Township.
"I think she wanted me to argue with her and when I wouldn't argue with her, she threw the diaper at the vehicle," said Campbell. "That didn't produce any result either, so she got out of her car, picked up the diaper, smeared it all over the back of the car and then let the dirty diaper lay there."
Campbell's son said he had his window down and at one point thought the dirty diaper was going to hit him. The duo said they now laugh about the incident, but still wonder what possessed the woman to throw the diaper in the first place.
"What is going on in someone's brains that would make them use a diaper? We're not monkeys. We don't throw feces at people. It's just insane," said Campbell.
