Showers and storms possible after stunning weekend

PITTSBURGH — After another beautiful weekend, changes are in store.

Severe Weather Team meteorologist Valerie Smock said scattered showers and a chance of a storm are expected Monday.

Smock said the showers aren’t expected to be heavy, and are most likely between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

“Storms are also not expected to be strong,” said Smock.

Humidity also returns Monday with a high of 82 degrees. A chance of showers and storms continues through the overnight hours with a low of 65 degrees.

Tuesday, expect more clouds than sunshine and an increasing chance of showers and storms.

“Some heavier downpours are possible with some gusty winds but severe weather again does not appear to be an issue,” Smock said.

Wednesday, as of now, just looks like a chance for showers with a high of 80.
