Starbucks is offering employees a new family care benefit.
It announced Tuesday that workers will receive 10 subsidized backup care days for children or elders.
The company is offering the benefit with the help of Care.com, a digital platform connecting caregivers with people who need them.
Workers can choose to pay a dollar an hour for in-home care of kids or elders or $5 a day for each child at a center.

After the 10 days, workers pay the full cost for services offered by Care.com.
Starbucks notes two million parents quit their jobs in 2016 due to a lack of child care, citing data from the National Survey of Children's Health.
A spokesman said this offering is the "final piece of the puzzle" of a new set of benefits announced by the company in January.
Other benefits include giving all baristas sick leave plus $500 in stock grants, higher wages and paid parental leave for up to six weeks.
