BALDWIN, Pa. — PennDOT District 11, in cooperation with the Allegheny Valley Railroad Company, announced on Sunday that work to replace the road surface at an at-grade railroad crossing on Streets Run Road (Route 2046) in Baldwin Borough will begin on Monday.
The crossing is between Missionary Drive and East Willock/Doyle Road.
To allow the necessary work to occur, Streets Run Road will be closed in both directions to thru-traffic between Route 51 (Clairton Boulevard) and Delwar Road (Route 2047) beginning at 6 a.m. on Monday around-the-clock through approximately 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
About 14,618 vehicles use Streets Run Road in this area on an average day.

Southbound
· Turn left onto Delwar Road (Route 2047)
· Follow Delwar Road to Lebanon Church Road (Route 2040)
· Make right and follow Lebanon Church Road west to Route 51
· Take Route 51 north back to Streets Run Road
· End detour
Northbound
· Same detour in opposite direction
