Swat team dispatched to Bloomfield home of naked, injured woman

PITTSBURGH — Shortly after 4 p.m. on Saturday, police were called to 4310 Main Street in Bloomfied to respond to reports of a wounded woman who was outside her house naked and throwing things.

Police identified the woman as Sierra Brown.

After Brown ran back into her apartment, police said they suspected were weapons inside the home and called for all on-duty SWAT units.

After further investigation, police determiend there were no weapons present in the home.

A man inside the house, who police identified as Jevin McGil, was arrested after refusing to cooperate with police.

Police believe the Brown’s wounds were self-inflicted.

According to police, both Brown and McGil were under the influence of drugs when the incident took place.

Both Brown and McGil are in custody for evaluations and will face criminal charges after their release.
