NEW CASTLE, Pa. — One person was arrested after a drug bust in New Castle.
The New Castle City Police narcotics department and the Lawrence County District Attorney's Investigation unit served a search warrant on the 100 block of East Wallace Avenue on Thursday.
Police recovered 11.69 ounces of cocaine, 58 grams of heroin containing fentanyl, a handgun, almost $10,000, a pill press machine, six cellphones, a digital scale and drugs with a street value of $35,000.
Michael Schmidt, 21, is being charged with two counts of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and several other charges.
