NORTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — One person is dead after a hit-and-run early Sunday morning in Washington County.
The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Route 19 and Weavertown Road in North Strabane Township, according to 911 dispatchers.
Police said the vehicle did not stop and fled the scene.
The fatal accident happened right in front of a Sheetz. There are no crosswalks there.
An employee at the Sheetz told Channel 11 police looked at the store's video from security cameras.
North Strabane police are still investigating.
