A local animal shelter that helps endangered pets is now in danger of laying off workers.
These are difficult times for so many and unfortunately, Animal Friends is no different.
The shelter said it is being forced to lay off about 30 employees to ensure it will come out of all this OK.

Since closing to the general public on March 18, Animal Friends has had to suspend programs, cancel clinics and training classes, close its retail stores and postpone fundraising events.
The shelter said one thing you can do to help right now is to make a donation, which they say, with no state funding, is more important now than ever.
