MUDDY CREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. — State police said the man wanted in connection with a murder last week in Butler County is now in custody.
Police said Paris Elias Carter, 22, was wanted in connection with the murder of David Hines, 38, of New Castle. Carter was arrested in Philadelphia.
Hines was found in an SUV down an embankment along East Portersville Road in Muddy Creek Township on May 17.

Hines died from a gunshot wound, state police said.
