Certain Primanti Bros. locations celebrate return of bar service with ‘Midnight Madness’

MT. LEBANON, Pa. — No bar service, no alcohol without food and no cocktails after 11 p.m.; those restrictions are finally in the rear view mirror. Starting at midnight, you’ll be able to sit at a bar, have a drink and stay there until 2 a.m.

“We’re trying to get back to normalcy,” said Primanti Bros. senior marketing manager Jim Prezioso. “We’ve been following all the guidelines that the CDC and everything has had for us all along the way. We’ve been taking those proper steps. We’re just excited to get back to a great atmosphere in the restaurant. The law says we can open at midnight, so we’re going to open at midnight.”

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf made the announcement last month that he was lifting some of the targeted restrictions on restaurants and bars.

“We have dividers set up, so if you come in with a party of three, you’re good,” Prezioso said.

It’s something that many restaurant owners are eagerly anticipating, especially after struggling immensely over the last year.
