Chadwick Boseman’s final film, which was shot in Pittsburgh, will be on Netflix at end of year

PITTSBURGH — It has Pittsburgh ties and will be the late Chadwick Boseman’s last performance.

The film “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” is set to premiere on Netflix in December.

It’s based on Pittsburgh playwright August Wilson’s 1984 play and was shot on the North Side last summer.
