NORTH HUNTINGDON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A dog was reunited with its owner after it fell 50 feet down a hillside and into a creek Friday afternoon in Westmoreland County.
It happened just after noon in an area near Maple Lane in North Huntingdon, near the Larimer Fire Department.

The dog lives at a nearby home, and got away from its owner. The dog slipped on some leaves, fell down the cliff and into the water.
The North Huntingdon Township water rescue team was able to rescue the dog.
