PITTSBURGH — A driver was critically hurt in a crash early Friday morning that involved a car and a pickup truck in Pittsburgh’s Brighton Heights neighborhood, police said.
The crash happened about 12 a.m. at Ohio River Boulevard’s intersection with the McKees Rocks Bridge.
When first responders got to the scene, the driver of the car was unresponsive, police said. Paramedics and firefighters pulled him from the car and took him to a hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the truck was able to get out of his vehicle on his own, police said. He was alert and talking to first responders.
The crash is under investigation.
