EAST CARNEGIE, Pa. — East Carnegie Volunteer Fire Chief Adam Kauer has been removed due to an investigation into a misuse of funds, a source close to the situation told Channel 11.

The case is now in the hands of the Allegheny County District Attorney. At this point, no charges have been filed.
