WARREN, Ohio — An employee at a Subway restaurant in Warren, Ohio, captured a robber on her cellphone.
WFMJ reported it was almost closing time Tuesday when the robber walked in, confronted the clerk and demanded money.
On the cellphone video, you can hear the man tell the clerk to open the register. Cathy Stafford, the clerk, refuses and tells him to get a job. The man again tells her to give him the money.

Stafford then asks him if he's the one robbing local places. The man then yells an expletive, grabs the tip jar on the counter and walks out. Stafford told WFMJ the man claimed to have a gun.
"I said, 'Well show it. If you have a gun I'll give you the money. No one has to get hurt. You don't have a gun and you're standing there saying give me the money. No I'm not doing it,'" Stafford said.
WFMJ asked Stafford why she decided to challenge the robber. "Why I did it? I don't know. Was I trying to be a hero? No, not really," Stafford said.
The video was posted on Facebook and at last check, had been shared 65,000 times.
