Events, music headliners announced for hybrid 2021 Three Rivers Arts Festival

PITTSBURGH — The Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival will return to being an in-person event in 2021, though some of it will remain virtual.

The 62nd festival will run June 4-14 in its hybrid format.

“The biggest change for the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival in 2021 is the layout and footprint,” said Sarah Aziz, Director of the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival and Director of Festival Management for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. “The 2021 Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival showcases our beloved Cultural District. The Cultural Trust’s galleries, theaters, and arts venues will have their doors open for the first time in more than a year. We could not be more excited!”

Included in the event will be the Artist Market, the Dollar Bank Main Stage at the Byham Theater, the Riverside Stage at Allegheny Overlook Pop-Up Park, visual art gallery exhibitions, outdoor public art installations and activities, the Juried Visual Art Exhibition, Anthropology of Motherhood: Culture of Care and Harris Theater @ Home. A 24/7 virtual stage will also be available during the 10-day festival.

Each Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the festival music concerts will take place on the Dollar Bank Main Stage inside of the Byham Theater. The lineup includes:

  • June 4: Celisse
  • June 5: Bassel and the Supernaturals
  • June 6: Rayland Baxter
  • June 11: Shemekia Copeland
  • June 12: Caroline Rose
  • June 13: Son Little
