WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — Petrifying Purple or Terrifying Teal? Kennywood wanted your feedback on the new color for the Phantom’s Revenge roller coaster, and the votes have been tallied.
Nearly 10,000 fan votes were submitted in the amusement park’s “Choose the Color” poll, and there was an overwhelming winner: petrifying purple.
The roller coaster will get its fresh purple paint job in Kennywood’s offseason, the park announced Friday.
