PITTSBURGH — The annual Heinz Field Kickoff and Rib Festival will return to Pittsburgh next month, Heinz Field management announced Tuesday.
Last year’s rib festival was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The annual event plans to feature some of the best ribs in the country, other food items, free music, and of course football.
Pittsburghers will get the opportunity to try food from 15 of the country’s best rib vendors and vote for their favorites.

Admission to the festival is free, but fans must purchase tickets in order to enter Heinz field for the Pitt Panthers football game and concerts at Stage AE.
Food and drink will be available for purchase.
Fans must also pre-register for the Steelers 5k Race, Fitness Walk and Kids Kickoff Run and the Gatorade Junior Training Camp.
