PITTSBURGH — If you’re looking for something to do this summer, the Senator John Heinz History Center and its family of museums reopened to the public Wednesday morning.
"I've been waiting anxiously for it to reopen," said Laurie Duker, who traveled from out of state to visit the History Center as soon as it opened.
The building, along with the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum, Fort Pitt Museum and the Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village, had been closed amid the pandemic.
Come Wednesday at 10 a.m., guests could return, but at 50 percent capacity.
