LAUREL HIGHLANDS, Pa. — Summer is coming to a close, and if you’re looking for a good place to see the vibrant colors of the changing leaves, you don’t have to go far.

Laurel Highlands has been named one of the best places in the U.S. to see fall foliage, according to USA Today.

The publication recently named their top ten places in the country to see the leaves, and Laurel Highlands came in third.

The changing leaves usually peaks in mid-October, according to USA Today.

Laurel Highlands comprises areas in Fayette, Westmoreland and Somerset counties.

If you’re looking for another destination in Pennsylvania, the Pocono Mountains came in at eighth.
