Lower Burrell police told Channel 11 Baxter left home Sunday at noon to visit her husband at a nearby nursing home.
Baxter last had contact about 9 a.m. Monday with a Maryland State Trooper on Interstate 68 in Garrett County, Maryland, police said. She was given gas money and directions back to Lower Burrell.
Police say she could be anywhere at this point, north or south of Maryland. She was heading north at the time.
Her plates are in a national database, so if they are ran, information will indicated that she is a missing person.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Baxter is asked to call 911.
