Man reportedly robs bank on Rt. 51 in Pleasant Hills Wednesday afternoon

PLEASANT HILLS, Pa. — Police said they’re searching for a man accused of robbing a bank on Route 51 in Pleasant Hills Wednesday afternoon.

Pleasant Hills Deputy Chief Sean Greene told Channel 11 that officers were called shortly after 2 p.m. for a robbery at the Dollar Bank on Route 51.

A man reportedly took off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Investigators said he did not show or mention a weapon and there were no injuries.

The bank sits along Route 51 near what used to be Century III Mall.
