According to state troopers, the victim -- identified as Jaemere Scott, 25 -- was found shot on the sidewalk between Carrol and Knoll streets in front of a house.
He was life-flighted from the scene to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, but officials have not released his condition or how many times he was shot.
Investigators said there was a “large gathering” where the shooting happened, and troopers initially thought a red mini van with busted lights was involved somehow -- but that turned out not to be true.
