We spend a lot of time in them -- but do you have a name for your car?
According to the 2018 National Name Your Car Day Survey, 42 percent of Americans name their vehicles.
The survey, which is commissioned by the GM BuyPower Card, found that 73 percent of respondents say naming a car "fosters a stronger bond" with that vehicle.
According to a news release, 1,276 licensed drivers in the United States were surveyed.
The most popular names given to vehicles by their drivers were Betsy and Betty.
It was revealed in the survey that women were 7 percent more likely than men to designate special titles for their cars, and 55 percent of respondents personified their vehicles as female.
