PITTSBURGH — With one office project nearing completion and another soon to begin, Oxford Development Co. is now preparing to build a new 600-space, five-story parking garage for its next phase of 3 Crossings in the Strip District.

The company is on the agenda for the January 14 meeting of the Pittsburgh Planning Commission for a briefing on the new garage.

Megan Stearman, director of marketing and innovation for Oxford, said the new garage is needed to support the new office projects in the works at 3 Crossings.

That includes the two-building, 110,000-square-foot Stacks at 3 Crossings nearing completion and expected to open in the first quarter and a new 150,000-square-foot, six-story office building called 75 Hopper Place, which the commission approved in November.
