Wilt admitted to hiding her baby boy’s body in the wall of their Lookout Avenue home, according to authorities. She said she placed the baby’s body in a crate, cut a hole in the wall, covered the body with blankets and put drywall and paint over the hole in the wall.

Investigators said Wilt and Hollis had been lying to Children and Youth Services workers about the baby’s whereabouts.

On Thursday, the district attorney’s office said a forensic anthropology examination revealed the baby suffered from antemortem trauma and perimortem trauma to the ribs. The trauma was in various stages of healing.
